DLF Mall of India may be a mall situated in Sector 18, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. The mall is cover seven floors and includes 330 brands, 80 kiosks, five customized shopping zones, alongside 75 food and beverages options and a cinema (PVR Cinemas) with seven screens.
Developed by DLF Limited, the mall was expected to be operational by December 2014 but eventually opened for public in February 2016. Mall of India was planned and designed by British architectural firm Benoy, with six customized shopping levels including international and Indian fashion, dedicated kids zone, entertainment, international cafes, food court, and restaurants with a race track atrium. It’s a well-liked hub for shopping, entertainment, and dining.
To add to the Mall of India franchise, DLF planned to create a Mall of India in the city of Gurgaon, which might have a capacity space in more than 4,500,000 square feet (418,100 m2) than their mall in Noida. However, in November 2008, construction work on the mall, after the initial land lease and digging, was placed on hold thanks to overall fall in retail rentals. Thus its current status is held during a stalled state.
